We all have to make sacrifices sometimes, and in this case it was Jabby's glasses that got the chop. Raybans fetch a pretty penny, though. These old frames, (I have it on good authority), are from high school when he had constantly tape them, because he didn't have the money to fix them. I think some of us have been there. Heck, the tape on my second pair of glasses almost got me a ticket. They were not immediatly retired, however.
In other news finding work is hard, and it doesn't help that there are various shady entries that promise everything you could ever want as long as you have a major credit card. I remember trying out a "make extra money during school, it's easy", ads, and what was advertised as a desk job quickly became a very shady "You can sell knives for us, here's how. First, though, you have to buy these knives." situation. I stayed simply out of morbid curiousity. Calling these businesses shady is like calling the Grand Canyon wide. Looking back, though, the ads stand out pretty badly. I laugh every time I see, "Work at home, make your own hours.". You can do that. All you have to do is sit at home, and write about how to work at home, and make your own hours.
Also, HOKY SMOKES! Is this a story arc that is making a major story change? Why yes it is. The guys are growing up, and the world is getting a little more real for them. Just not so real it isn't still funny. Although, isn't major comedy born from great tragedy? I dunno. How tragic is a pie to the face. I'll be here all week. Later, nuts and buns.
